ARKANSAS CURRICULUM STANDARDS

ARKANSAS CURRICULUM STANDARDS

Arkansas has basic expectations for student performance.  The Arkansas Curriculum Standards are the state requirements for what students should know at each grade level and in each subject area. All curriculum framework documents are the result of Arkansas educators that are on a joint committee.

Cotter School District curriculum goals directly reflect the Arkansas Curriculum Standards.  Teachers’ goals are to prepare their students for real life situations.  Students are taught problem solving skills, strategies for critical thinking, and how to best meet the standards.
